The Ondo Catholic Schools app is a simple app that primarily focuses on passing information across to you, rather than you sending out information. It therefore, does not need to collect, and in fact, does not collect any special or hidden information about you or your device.
The only personal information you are required to provide during registration are your name, email and phone number. These pieces of information are only used exclusively by the school for future communication with you.
Do note that the Ondo Catholic Schools app is part of a larger platform - SoftPortals - used in managing students’ information in all Catholic schools in Ondo diocese. All information managed by the SoftPortals platform, including the minimal information you are required to provide during registration, is securely transmitted and stored, and is only accessible to authorized staff of the associated school(s).
Apart from the information provided during registration, the two other ways in which you currently can send out information to the school from the app is via the digital Suggestion Box feature and the Voting feature.
Again, all suggestions you make can only be viewed by authorized members of staff. You can even make a suggestion completely anonymous by checking the "Do not attach my name to this suggestion" check box.
Equally, all votes cast are anonymous.
